Policies are provided for individual programs and shared on ACTIVE Registration under the specified program. *Scroll down for Summer Camp Policies. 


  • In the event of inclement weather, HERO Kids Sports will communicate a plan and make every effort to facilitate a make up class.  

  • HERO Kids Sports reserves the right to cancel any program if minimum enrollment is not met. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be issued to the payee.

  • HERO Kids Sports will communicate with families regarding individual programs as it pertains to make ups and cancellations in the event of a canceled class.

Inclement Weather:

Inclement Weather Policies are provided for individual programs and shared on ACTIVE Registration under the specified program.  

Illness Protocol:

In the instance that your child may experience symptoms of an illness that may prohibit them from participating in camp activities (i.e. fever, diarrhea, severe cough or cold symptoms etc), we ask that you take the necessary precautions and stay home. A camp credit minus a 10% processing fee will be provided for illness.

Emergency Contact Confirmation and Protocol:

We do ask a parent/guardian to remain on-call for the duration of camp at the contact number provided in your child's online registration.

School Cancellation less than 24 hours:

If a School initiates a cancellation of programming less than 24 hours OR 1 day prior to the start of programming, HERO will not be able to provide a make-up class and the regular program cost for the canceled class will apply.

Materials Needed:

HERO provides all the necessary sports equipment for your child to participate in our programs. Please have your child attend program dressed in comfortable clothing and footwear to play sports. Please pack your child a water bottle.


Summer Camp Cancellation Refund & Camp Credit Policy: 

  • Cancellations prior to March 31st, 2023 will receive a full refund, less a $75 administration fee for each week/child is registered. 

  • Cancellations  made from April 1st, 2023 through May 26th, 2023 will receive an ACTIVE Account credit less a $75 administration fee for each week/child is registered. 

  • Cancellations requested after May 26th, 2023 are non-refundable and ineligible for a credit.  

Summer Camp Week Transfer Policy:  

  • Changes to your original camp week registration may be made for your child to attend another camp week, if availability allows in summer 2023. Requests must be made no later than 14 days prior to the start date of the original camp week less a $25 administration fee. Change requests under 14 days prior to your original camp week will not be honored and are ineligible for a refund/camp credit.  

Summer Camp Illness Policy:  

  • For summer 2023, one make up day per child for illness will be honored.

  • In the instance a child cannot attend the full week of camp due to illness, a written request can be submitted to HERO with physician's documentation to receive an ACTIVE Account credit, less a $75 administration fee for each week/child is registered. Camp credits must be utilized by December 31st, 2023. Only full camp weeks are eligible for a camp credit. 

Summer Camp Sibling Discount:   

  • Sibling discounts available! Families with more than one child attending  camp are eligible for a 10% discount after the first child's regular registration price. The sibling discount is applied to the lower priced item at check out and may not be combined with any other discount. 

*HERO Kids Sports utilizes ACTIVE as the registration platform for camp registration. If eligible, camp credits will be applied to your ACTIVE account only. Camp credits are non-transferrable to a third party.
